Friends of ours think that because our son’s name is Jacob, I am a die-hard fan of Jacob the Werewolf of the Twilight movie series.  We’re so tired of answering the question, “Is he named after Jacob, the guy in Twilight?”  Perhaps I should wear t shirts that read:  TEAM EDWARD? 

We chose Jacob as our son’s name because we wanted a biblical name and one that starts with the letter “J”.  We didn’t want something that sounded prophetic or old fashioned.  We didn’t want something long either because it would take time for our son to write it down.  The name Job, though short, was out of the question because it reminded me of sores and suffering.  We wanted Joshua but it’s the name of my nephew.  So my husband and I decided on the name Jacob.  It’s the name of Abraham’s son and is the father of Joseph who had the multi-colored coat.  Jacob is biblical but it still sounds modern.  It’s not very long so our son will have an easy time learning how to write his name.

Jacob’s name has absolutely nothing to do with Twilight.  And I bought the funny t shirts online from this shirt store just to prove a point.

I set out to find a personal trainer that could work with me on the weekends, since I travel a lot during the week. I know that most trainers would work in a gym during normal business hours and just Monday through Friday but I needed someone who would be willing to go the extra mile. I found a fitness trainer Canada website that listed lots of trainers that would be willing to work out any time that you asked them to.

I sent numerous emails out to a few of the trainers on the fitness trainer Canada website and got back several responses. I like to think that I did find a personal trainer that is better than all the rest. He does not mind working around my busy schedule and in the few short weeks that I have been working out, I feel much healthier.

The waterless urinals that were just installed into the men’s restrooms are apparently a big hit with all of them. I can just imagine all the men standing around admiring their new fancy bathroom items. I guess that it is no different than us woman all talking about our hand dryers. We did not like our women’s restrooms always running out of paper towels, so the hand dryers are really nice.

When the higher ups asked us what we would like to upgrade in the restrooms and gave us a limit on what we could spend, the men chose the waterless urinals and the smart woman chose the hand dryers. We are all really happy with our choices. I think that next year, they are allowing us to upgrade a few things in the break room and then we will all have to agree on those things together.
