I just got a flyer in the mail from the company that I get my office supplies from. It seems that they are now offering discount office furniture as well. I decided to just check out what they had on their website even thought I did not think that we needed any office furniture at this time. When I got on their site and saw the quality of their pieces and their rock bottom prices, I changed my mind.

I ended up placing an order for some much needed office supplies and some not so much needed discount office furniture. I got a great deal on two new computer desks and really nice lamps. I figured that since my desk was so old that getting a new one that was so cheap could be justified. I did not tell my partner about the new desks that I had ordered for us because I wanted it to be a surprise.

When the office supplies and the new furniture arrived later that week, I had the night maintenance crew put the desks together and switch them out with the old ones. My partner was shocked when he came in the next day to find a new desk in his office. When I told him how much that I had paid for them, he was pleasantly surprised.

My mother called and asked me where my daughter gets her funny t shirts from. I told her that we have a cheap t shirts website that we like to order from every now and again. She told me that when she was at her ladies weekly luncheon, a few of her friends were wondering how to get some of those funny t shirts for their granddaughters. The grandmas wanted to get something for them that they knew they would wear. We all know that teenagers are hard to shop for and cheap funny t shirts were the answer to all of their shopping prayers.

A couple of weeks later, my mother arrived for a visit with gifts in hand. My daughter was shocked to get funny cheap t shirts from her grandma. She was so happy with them, that she called her friends to tell them about the cool t shirts her grandma had brought her. Now, my mom knows where to get gifts for my daughter whenever it is her birthday or for Christmas and so do the ladies from the luncheon. I have since found another site and let them know that they also have cheap t shirts on their site too.

I was not sure if my mother could afford her term life insurance premium anymore, after she lost her job. I asked her several times if I could help her with her bills and she told me that she had it all covered. I was successful in helping my mother out with her bills and getting her enrolled in a new term life insurance policy that was much more affordable than her previous one. I even paid the first year’s entire premium for her so she would not have to worry about it while she was looking for a new job. I know that she did not want to take the help but I insisted and she finally gave in.

I was into wearing funny t shirts back in college. I used to buy new ones all the time from the awesome store that was in the mall. The mall store came out with new designs every week and all of my friends and I would drive over after class on Friday and check them out. I think that my parents were a little concerned that their son was spending so much money on clothes every week since the credit card bills only read that I had bought t shirts, not what they said on them.

I always had to be very careful about which funny shirts I took home with me because I knew that my mother would not approve of all of them. Since everyone else wore them at school, I felt comfortable wearing them there but around my parents would have been a different story. Most of them had to do with drinking and partying which my parents knew nothing about.

It was funny when I went back home and hung out with my high school friends , how we would all have the same type of funny t shirts but always had them covered up when we were around any adults. When we got to the bars, we would take off our coats and sweatshirts and display our new found way of expressing ourselves very proudly.
