Cost Considerations and Mobile Outdoor Advertising
03/05/2008
Aside from the exorbitant cost of gas, there may be some other costs associated with mobile advertising. Among other things, you may need to ask local government officials if you can wage a mobile outdoor advertising campaign. This in turn, may involve paying a fee for a permit. You may also need to spend extra money on a specific type of vehicle, fasteners, and other items.
If you reach a point where you decide that you do not want to conduct a mobile billboard advertising campaign on your own, it is best to call a professional. Unfortunately, they may charge you a sizeable amount of money for a small amount of time and geographic area coverage. Depending on your needs and what you expect to gain, the cost may or may not be worth it.
In addition, simply driving a vehicle with mobile billboards on it is not the most effective utilization of this advertising method. You will garner much better results if you can draw people to the area where the vehicle will be passing through. A parade route, outdoor rally, or other form of large-scale celebration is the best way to ensure people will be looking at your advertisements. As may be expected, all of these extra items can add to the cost of a mobile advertising campaign plan. Once you know how much each component will cost, you may simply want to look at some other methods and see if one will garner you better results for a lower price.
