Stop! That is poison.

Once a mother arrived at the hospital with her young child. The child had caught a fever, his temperature was high and he could barely breathe. As the doctors fought to revive him, the mother was desperately trying to figure out how her young son could have caught this terrible disease. She was crying. When she saw the white robe, she went silent and sat down. The doctor sat down next to her, and told her that her son was going to be well. She has a bacterial infection, and some how, there were traces of fungal effects.
Sitting down later to imagine what had happened, she remembered that she had been living the child in the basement where she had created a playroom. The room has portable basement dehumidifiers. It just crossed her mind, and she told the doctor. The doctor asked about the condition of the dehumidifier.
As a matter of fact, the unit was not new, and was leaking. Water from dehumidifiers is indeed very toxic. This is as a result of the fungus that is absorbed together with the moisture from pores. During basement dehumidification, the water absorbed is not more like distilled water. And yet this water is not really distilled as it is not subjected to high temperatures to kill the fungi.
What happens is that the water should be released on the outside when you reduce moisture from the inside. This water is highly toxic and causes deep problems and diseases. One should be very careful especially when using portable dehumidifiers to avoid the event of poisoning. Have a non toxic day today!
