Something Unexpected
06/17/2010
My Boyfriend and I broke up a few days ago. Our relationship is over and I have to get over it. I decided to get serious with my studies and focus on my career in college. I won’t let our breakup distract me from what I’ve wanted to become. I want to become a Web Designer and Program Developer. The fees are getting higher each year and I’m running out of options. While I was looking absentmindedly at my fingers, I saw the diamond ring that he gave me a few months ago. Selling jewelry is not my style, but it “was” an option.
I searched the internet for trusted stores with a good reputation in buying jewelries. I happen to browse this certain website, which offers appraisals and the possibility of getting more money for my ring. Without much thought I called for their services and asked how to sell my jewelry. They gave me instructions on what to do, after a few days a gold kit was delivered to me and I placed my diamond ring on it. After a few days a check was delivered and I went “gaga” over the price. It was a good price, enough to probably last another year of my studies. Something good unexpectedly came from our breakup. Maybe I should consider it as a blessing in disguise.
