Helping out
06/10/2010
I am helping out a friend who is planning to open up an office in the downtown area. This is actually his second branch as he already has offices in other major cities. He asked me to help him out source inexpensive IBM Storage servers that he needs to be able to implement his planned office setup.
I reviewed his network plan and saw that he planned to use IBM SAN solution for this new office of his. It was ok however it was really going to cost him a lot if he buys new equipment for this. So i agreed to help him out with his plan. I suggested that he check out first this site where I usually purchase refurbished IBM products. I assured him that they were reliable for I have been a frequent customer for about a year now. He was happy that I was able to show him the site for he told me that it would save him hundreds of dollars if he bought the equipment from them. We purchased the things that he needed from the site and the equipment just arrived early this week and is now being installed and will be ready for testing any time soon. I was glad to help out a friend.
