Selling silver online is supposed to be really easy. I have not done too much research on it but a friend of mine told me that he may sell old silver dollar collections online for some extra cash. He apparently bought out an old antique shop that was going out of business and sold off everything but the coin collections. He figures that he could sell old silver dollar collections for twenty four hours straight and still have some left over in his basement.

I sold some gold jewelry once to the local pawn shop but had never thought of selling silver since most places do not advertise that they accept silver, just gold. I am sure that since the gold is so high right now, they would rather have it but the amount of silver jewelry that I have should actually add up to a good amount.

I suppose if I compare the weight of my silver to the weight of my friends coin collections it might give me a rough idea of how much I can get after he sells a few of his online. He seems to think that most of the coins in the collections he has are not very valuable by themselves, but the silver can be melted down and recycled.
