I answered a help wanted ad in the newspaper for anyone who had MN deck construction experience. I had worked for another deck company before being laid off last spring. I really need to get this job, so I am going to show them all the work experience that I have had with MN deck construction. I took before and after pictures for my boss at my last job and have them all saved to my computer.

I would think that anyone who can show you their work has a better chance getting the job, then someone who just tells you about their work. I have put together a whole presentation for this home remodeling company that I desperately need to hire me.

If I do not get the job, then it will not be for lack of trying. I know that I am going to give it my all and have the best interview with this home remodeling company that I can. The references that I have are all great and my last employer even gave me a letter of recommendation to pass along. If that does not work, then I may have to look for a different line of work. It will be turning cold soon and the deck construction business will not be hiring after the end of this month.
