When I graduated from college, my parents gave me and my best friend a gift of a trip to Brazil. We were ready to soak up the sun and the sand after graduation. My mother explained that she had contacted an overseas property rental company that she had found on the internet, and rented us a beautiful place that was on the beach.

We boarded our plane thinking that our overseas property that my mother rented was going to be a shack because she had done everything over the internet. We were shocked when we got there and we each had our own bedrooms and our own personal bathrooms. After sharing a dorm room and a restroom with what seemed like everyone on campus, it was nice to have our own space to stretch out in.

We went exploring on the beach and then decided to set out to explore all the local shops and find some good food. The week that we stayed there, was one of the most peaceful times I can remember ever having while on vacation. We had the best time, on that vacation.
