Stand alone guard patrol systems are a part of patrol verification system which collects are the data from the collectors and other devices. This stand alone patrol system can store information; it can transfer and also evaluates that data. It also resets the memory according to the seasonal time changes. This is completely automated systems it can be programmed via a computer. It can handle the information of up to two hundred checkpoints and which can be assigned into twenty different patrol rounds. These systems are available with guard tour systems

Guard tours systems are electronic systems which contains checkpoints for event labels which are pasted at all check points along the patrolling route. And data collector is handed to the guard on patrolling the guard needs to read those barcodes, which are printed on these labels. Then after the patrolling is finish he needs to transfer the data in the collector to a computer for evaluation. The labels have many hundreds of barcodes which cannot be repeated and they are self destructive as soon as they are removed. The electronic key cabinets are also essential along with guard tour systems. These key cabinets hold the keys securely and it allows only authorized personnel to take the keys. Through these systems we can be sure that who has taken which keys and at what time. The Anchor biometric time clocks are also serving the same purpose but these are a lot advanced than the key cabinets but they are specially design to use as an employee time clock
